“Pengantin” (Brides), is a story of three Indonesian female migrant workers in Hong Kong and Taiwan who are searching for love through social media. Two of them met with Islamic State jihadists online and were influenced to join ISIS and marry these men. While the other one is the portrait of the relatively successful migrant worker. The film does not only aim to be an educational campaign for female migrant workers, but also to highlight the changing landscape of radicalization in the digital era in Indonesia.
