This film tells three stories of the face of religious life in Indonesia. Rima (Eka Nusa Pertiwi), who emerges as a valuable staff member of the banned Indonesian Islamic State (NII). The teenager Jabir (M. DinuImansyah) became a suicide bomber because he was motivated by family conditions and economic difficulties. Asimah (Jajang C. Noer) was a mother who her only child was abducted by a fundamentalist Islamic group. Asimah walks all over the city looking for her daughter.
